Community School's primary goal is to help children achieve a level of performance in the classroom that is fully commensurate with their abilities, intellects and talents. We provide skilled remedial help and a challenging college preparatory curriculum taught within the framework of an educational plan developed to meet each student's needs and learning style.
St. Joseph's School for the Blind provides comprehensive educational and therapeutic services to children, and young adult students (ages 3-21) who are: Preschool Disabled, Blind/Visually Impaired and/or Multiply Disabled. Therapeutic intervention supporting developmentally based academic programs are individually formulated and implemented to meet a student's needs.
Rock Brook School is a private, nonprofit school for children with Communication Impairments and Multiple Disabilities, ages 3 through 21. We offer a full range of programs and services, including: team teaching approach, full academic individualized programs, speech and language remediation, occupational and physical therapy, social skills training, behavior management, art, music, physical education, current educational technology, after school program and community activities.
The Forum School is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian day program for developmentally atypical children from preschool through high school. We offer a therapeutic educational environment for children whose educational needs cannot be met in their local district.
Green Brook Academy is a state approved private school for students ages six through twenty-one (6-21) for students in need of individualized attention for significant emotional and behavioral disabilities. With the help of our specially trained staff, students are given the opportunity to modify their behavior by developing the necessary social skills to allow them to realize success in their future.
Lakeview Learning Center is a Private School for the Disabled dedicated to helping students attain their true potential and develop the life skills necessary to function successfully in the community and become contributing members of society.
The Mount Carmel Guild Academy is an approved NJ State Board Private School for the disabled. Our accredited program serves students in Pre-K – High School, who are eligible for special education and related services. The school's 210-day program focuses on providing an educationally and clinically supportive environment for students between the ages of four and twenty-one.
Westbridge Academy offers a powerful, therapeutic based academic and social skills training program for students in grades K-12 experiencing emotional, behavioral and/or learning challenges. The elementary, middle and high school programs provide a stimulating curriculum, coupled with therapeutic intervention and support, utilizing a student/teacher ratio of 6:1.
