Description: Bergen Center for Child Development is a New Jersey State-approved private school, serving students with disabilities from kindergarten through grade 12, as well as those ages 18-21.
Bergen Center for Child Development offers a supportive, therapeutic educational environment for students with disabilities to thrive and grow in a warm, family-like atmosphere. We offer both classroom and community-based instruction, with an emphasis on academic and social/emotional learning.
Here, students learn through making connections to friends, teachers, and the community. Programs are designed to enhance life experiences, self-esteem, and appropriate behaviors. We provide an environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and a positive attitude toward lifelong learning.
