Established in 1967, The Deron School serves the academic, emotional, and social needs of children with learning disabilities. The mission of the Deron School is to provide a comprehensive school experience with a warm, supportive, structured learning environment that empowers students to reach their highest level of independence and achievement.
Holmstead School provides an educational and therapeutic atmosphere, which emphasizes innovative and flexible education for bright adolescents who need to be challenged in order to change their motivation and performance. Students at Holmstead find both academic success and behavioral growth.
Honor Ridge Academy is a DOE approved private day school for educationally classified students ages 5 to 21, providing a strong academic program including crisis and behavior management to out-of-district placed students for over 40 years. We provide: complete academic curriculum, small classroom setting, positive based behavior management systems, individual therapeutic counseling for all students, as well as, related services pursuant to the IEP.
North Jersey Elks Developmental Disabilities Agency (NJEDDA) High School is a pioneer in the rehabilitation field for children and adults with special needs. The programs are fashioned to meet the needs of each individual with developmental disabilities. The agency currently serves 260 families from 50 municipalities in Northern New Jersey.
Rock Brook School is a private, nonprofit school for children with Communication Impairments and Multiple Disabilities, ages 3 through 21. We offer a full range of programs and services, including: team teaching approach, full academic individualized programs, speech and language remediation, occupational and physical therapy, social skills training, behavior management, art, music, physical education, current educational technology, after school program and community activities.
St. Joseph's School for the Blind provides comprehensive educational and therapeutic services to children, and young adult students (ages 3-21) who are: Preschool Disabled, Blind/Visually Impaired and/or Multiply Disabled. Therapeutic intervention supporting developmentally based academic programs are individually formulated and implemented to meet a student's needs.
Green Brook Academy is a state approved private school for students ages six through twenty-one (6-21) for students in need of individualized attention for significant emotional and behavioral disabilities. With the help of our specially trained staff, students are given the opportunity to modify their behavior by developing the necessary social skills to allow them to realize success in their future.
ECLC is a private, nonprofit, network of agencies providing lifelong services to children and adults with disabilities. Our two schools serve more than 300 children, ages 5-21. Our innovative teachers and professional staff are constantly exploring and seeking new ways to help our students achieve their greatest potential, through transition to work or engagement in day/evening programs.
