Each spring, the Alliance hosts a 1/2 day conference in North Jersey drawing roughly 200 parents, educators and advocates. The event is widely promoted online and through social media, as well as more traditional strategies. It includes an information fair featuring service providers, agencies, and organizations serving children and teens with disabilities.

Each year, we sponsor advocacy workshops designed to help parents understand their rights and responsibilities in the special education process. Topics include: Placement Options in Special Education, and Transition Planning for Adult Life.
